Peg&Stop and Fix&Go Anchor Plate – The Smartest Combo for Camper Awnings

This set is ideal for awnings, tent poles, or storm straps of all kinds. Awning legs are safely fixed between the Fix&Go Anchor Plates and cannot sink into soft grounds or take off. The height-adjustable locknut of the Peg&Stop system holds the plate in place—even if the peg is not fully screwed in. With a quick-release mechanism, you can retract your awning anytime. The set includes various screw-in pegs to match all types of ground. (Pre-drilling may help in winter.)

With a few tweaks, the Anchor plate 2.0 can be adapted to fit Awnlux-style box awnings, including Hailinge, Xtend Outdoors and Austrack models. Read more here

How to Use:

• Fix&Go Plates: Use 3 pegs (S and N) per plate to form a sturdy triangle depending on ground hardness.
• Peg&Stop S & N: Can be partially screwed in. If it stops moving forward, it's locked. Use the hook or locknut closest to the ground.
• Hardcore Pegs: For rocky/gravel ground. Hammer in and screw out diagonally per plate.
• L Pegs: Ideal for storm straps or sandy/muddy ground. Consider extras if camping in soft conditions regularly.
• Quick Teardown: Unlock sliders and unscrew or hammer out pegs as needed.

Which awning style do I own? 

Leg comparison

The legs of a box-style awning are usually much smaller compared to a roll-out awning. These are so compact that they can fit back into their cassette while the roll-out awning is only retracted and attached to the side of your caravan. Roll-out awning legs seem a lot more bulky compared box-style awnings. This is also why we needed to develop an XL anchor plate for these awnings: 

Style and sail track comparison

Box-style awnings have an edgy-shaped box that contains the extendable poles/frames containing the awning feet. The roll-out awnings have a round cylinder-shaped front that rolls the awning cloth up. Usually, 2-3 sail tracks are available, while most box-style awnings only have one sail track and max two with brands like Fiamma.
