Even though the weather seems good, a roll-out awning should always be fixed tightly to the ground. Our Fix&Go Anchor Plate XL provides quick securing and easy retraction of awning legs or tent poles.

• Awning legs or tent poles are securely fixed and won't sink into the ground or lift off.
• Retraction of your awning is possible at any time. Simply secure or unblock via the orange Fix&Go sliders.
• Maximize Campsite Space: Securely position the awning legs on the ground instead of angled toward the caravan, providing a larger, unobstructed campsite area without the legs getting in your way.
• Secure Storm Strap Attachment: Attach your storm strap directly to the Fix&Go Anchor Plate XL using the storm hook for stability, even in narrow campsites or areas with obstructions. This setup also reduces tripping hazards by keeping straps out of main walkways.

• Customizable for Dometic Awnings: Each Fix&Go Anchor Plate XL includes a special insert for the Dometic roll-out awning. If you’re using a different brand, simply flip the anchor plate upside down, squeeze the levers, and push the insert out for easy removal.

The fiberglass-reinforced Peg&Stop S is designed for normal grounds and, due to its length, for a bit more compact ground. Its height-adjustable locknut ensures a firm hold for your equipment and a quicker fixing of awning legs.

The fiberglass-reinforced Peg&Stop N is designed for normal grounds, and also for a bit softer ground due to its length. Its height-adjustable locknut ensures a firm hold for your equipment and a quicker fixing of awning legs.

This time, hammering instead of screwing! The Hardcore Peggy Peg is designed to be hammered into hard-packed ground, rocky gravel, or even tarmac and to be screwed out again. Manufactured from aluminium, it’s 15cm long and provides a secure hold.

PP12 Screw-in Peg Long 2 pcs (31 cm) incl. four L hooks.

Peggy Peg screw-in pegs Long, reinforced with fiberglass, have a generously designed thread for use on soft and sandy grounds. These 31cm pegs come with adjustable hooks for added stability.

2x PP25 Tie Strap 2.0 

Stormproof in no time! The Tie Strap is a wise extension for every awning owner. Adjustable between 1.5 and 3 meters, the strap uses an integrated spring system for tension relief and is suitable for anchoring purposes for various awnings, tents, and sun sails.

An aluminum adapter for the electric drill, designed to withstand the required power when using Hardcore Pegs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

❓ What is the hook for?

The hook is our storm hook where you can connect our storm strap, the TieStrap 2.0, directly to the plate. This way you eliminate tripping hazards. This is also ideal in case you can’t strap down forwards in a 45 degree angle (which is still the best option) due to a sunscreen, privacy screen, a narrow campsite or an obstacle blocking the strap position. In these cases, strapping down directly to the anchor plate is a great option to have.

❓ My awning doesn’t fit the sliders?

The Anchor Plate XL comes with an inner plate which is specially for Dometic roll-out awnings. In case you have an Aussie Traveller, Solera or Carefree awning, simply flip the anchor plate and unclick the inner part. This way, these awnings should fit.

❓ How to use the Anchor Plate XL in sand?

The Anchor Plate XL is designed to also be used on sand. That’s why the plate is elevated compared to Anchor Plate 2.0. To use it on sand, make sure to use the open holes on the side of the Anchor Plate XL: simply screw the PP13 through this open hole and place either the PP04 or HP60 on the opposite sides for stability.

Which awning style do I own? 

Leg comparison

The legs of a box-style awning are usually much smaller compared to a roll-out awning. These are so compact that they can fit back into their cassette while the roll-out awning is only retracted and attached to the side of your caravan. Roll-out awning legs seem a lot more bulky compared box-style awnings. This is also why we needed to develop an XL anchor plate for these awnings: 

Style and sail track comparison

Box-style awnings have an edgy-shaped box that contains the extendable poles/frames containing the awning feet. The roll-out awnings have a round cylinder-shaped front that rolls the awning cloth up. Usually, 2-3 sail tracks are available, while most box-style awnings only have one sail track and max two with brands like Fiamma.
