How to use screw-in camping pegs
- Check the soil.Match the peg to the ground and your attachment. Frozen or extremely hard ground may need pre-drilling.
- Use the right tool.Follow your model's instructions and torque limit. Stop at resistance or the limit; do not force an adjustable peg fully in. Hardcore Peggy is hammered in.
- Adjust, then attach.Position the hook or lock nut correctly before tensioning your guy line or securing your plate. Recheck the anchoring if the ground conditions change.
